An Adoptee's Journey ~ This site is maintained by Ron, my very first (and still my best) Internet friend. His site is devoted to his search for his birth family, and is truly a labor of love. Many heart-warming and "personal" touches on this page.
Dookster's Domain ~ Dookster gives us some insight about what it's like to live with a disability. He also shares his many interests, including sports, poetry, and classic Hollywood legends. Nice!
Joe Chemo ~ A Camel Who Wishes He'd Never Smoked ~ I've listed this site on my healthcare links page as well, but I can't tell you enough how interesting, and how important, this site is...."Joe Chemo" was created by a professor whose father was stricken by lung cancer, and this site is an excellent example of using personal tragedy to achieve a positive end....If you smoke, stop by this site....It could make a big difference in your life....
tveatch.org ~ "Doc" is an old online friend of mine from our days as "Community Leaders" in the GeoCities "Hot Springs" community. His "Old Paramedic's EMS Page" now has its own domain....and looks better than ever! Doc has a wealth of information on his site, including EMS history, personal information, and free web graphics for EMS websites which he created. Fabulous site! Definitely worth the visit....
